Is Dublin Airport WiFi safe?
What the Dublin Airport (DUB) WiFi is called, what its pop-up asks for, and how to check it before you trust it.
Dublin Airport’s network is “Dublin Airport Wi-Fi”: free, no sign-up or registration, and you click Connect on a pop-up. Because there is no form at all, any Dublin sign-in that asks for details or payment is a red flag.

What the sign-in page should ask for
Dublin Airport says to find or enter the network name “Dublin Airport Wi-Fi” in your settings and click Connect on the pop-up. There is no account and no registration. That makes Dublin one of the easiest airports to check: the right pop-up asks for nothing.
The same page lists a paid printing service (€10 for up to 20 pages, at Smarte Carte in T1 Arrivals). That is a printing fee, not a WiFi fee.
Rule of thumb for any airport: a WiFi sign-in page may ask you to accept terms, watch an ad or enter basic contact details. It should never ask for a card number (unless you chose a paid tier on the official portal), your email password or a bank login.
Lookalike networks
The official name is Dublin Airport Wi-Fi, with a hyphen in Wi-Fi. Some travel guides list Dublin Airport Free WiFi; that is not the name on the airport’s page. DUB Free WiFi or Dublin-Airport-Guest are not either.
Copycat networks (“evil twins”) work by broadcasting a name that looks trusted, sometimes with a stronger signal than the real one. CISA advises confirming the name of a public hotspot before you use it, so if two similar names appear, ask staff or check the airport’s website.
